About

Set in the heart of Maida Vale, we were asked to refurbish the existing Executive lounge, that hadn’t been refurbished for 10 years. We demolished the existing kitchen, bathroom and buffet counter and opened out the space to create an entirely new layout. A new built in buffet unit with rear display was created to house the drinks fridge and also to act as the counter for which breakfasts and snacks were served throughout the day. We created a new TV wall, to house the Audio visual equipment and also to double as a book case, for the selection of books and newspapers. In the curved bay window, we created a bespoke curved banquette seating area that became a welcoming and relaxed drinks area. Dividing the eating and drinking zones, we created a tall communal table for shared working and meeting area.  A work station was created to the side to allow for guests to use the computer with internet, printer, copier  and fax.

A new carpet was fitted,  along with wood look tiles at the front of the buffet counter.  Modern, good quality furniture was selected, to take the high volume of traffic in the lounge. We also sourced decorative pendant lights arranged in clusters to break up the flat ceiling space, and highlight the various areas. The transformation of the space was radical, and surprisingly to the client, on a limited budget.
