About

Set in a modern hotel block in Kensington, we were asked to do 2 schemes for the guestroom sample rooms – one a soft scheme, working with the existing furniture, changing the flooring, lighting and soft furnishings, and the other a hard scheme, changing all the existing furniture, lighting, flooring and wall coverings.  The end result was a bedroom refurbishment project based on 228 rooms, where the bedrooms received a soft refurbishment and the 7 suites (including one VIP suite) received a full refurbishment.

A full survey of all the rooms was carried out, and put onto CAD. We then specified all the window treatments, designed a bespoke carpet, created a new casegoods package and soft furnishings, selected new light fittings and new artwork related to London. We also specified all the new paint and wallcoverings, and ironmongery.

Working along side the client and contractor, we completed a full snagging list for all the guestrooms and corridors and ensured the best possible finish for the client. They were delighted with the end result.
